Fundraising continues for nenaghs scouts hall

This week the committee of the Scouts Hall and Nenagh Choral Society reached a milestone when they collected €40,000 of their €70,000 target figure for refurbishing Nenagh's iconic hall.

The 'Sponsor a Chair' initiative is proving particularly popular, with chairs being sponsored by Tipperary people both at home and all over the world. To date 250 of the 500 chairs have been 'sponsored'.

For Nenagh Choral Society, attention now turns to the adult production, which will run from Easter Monday, April 6th 2015, for six performances.  Anyone who would like to become a member of this vibrant, fun society can go along to an information evening on Monday December 1st at 8pm in the Scouts Hall. You can also catch NCS at the Cristmas Craft Fair in the Abbey Court Hotel on December 7th where they will be doing some carol singing to help get into the festive spirit!
