Childrens christmas toys stolen in roscrea
Children in a family in Roscrea will be hoping that Santa can come to the rescue following a burglary from their home of €400 worth of new toys bought for Christmas.
The mean theft from the house in Cluain Bán, Roscrea, took place on Monday evening last at around 7.15pm.
The disappearance of the toys was part of a much larger haul from the home. Cash and cheques to the value of €1,100 were also stolen, as well as some clothes.
Gardaí in Roscrea and Nenagh are appealing for the public's help in identifying those responsible for the burglary.
The incident was just one of a spate of burglaries that took place in the Roscrea and Nenagh areas over the past week.
