Christmas tree festival in nenagh
The festival will run from Sunday 14th until Sunday 21st December from 2-8pm, with official opening on Saturday 13th at 6.30pm.
The Christmas trees on display will be created by a diverse group of Nenagh's charities, businesses, churches and individuals. With around 60 planned, they should be quite a spectacle!
Admission will be €3 per person, with children (accompanied by an adult) free. Refreshments will be available for sale, which will include afternoon tea at €5 served from 2.30-5.30pm and tea/coffee/cookies at other times. There will be a tempting selection of home-made produce, quiz sheets, with cash prizes, to test your Christmas general knowledge and a raffle.
There will be various musical and worship events planned at different times throughout the festival, some during festival hours and some from 8pm – more details to follow.
A donation from the proceeds will be made to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind so we are hoping for great support! Everyone is very welcome, both to visit and also to display a tree.
