Newport public urged to attend playground and park meeting

A concept plan for the development of a Town Park and Playground in Newport will be presented at a public meeting at the Community Centre tonight (Thursday December 4th) at 7.15pm. The plan will be outlined by the architect for the project, Stephen Diamond.

 

The Newport Children's Playground committee will be represented on the night and will also have their plans for a children's playground available for public view and discussion.

 

The community have been calling for this development for the town for a considerable period of time and it is now vital that as many as possible avail of this opportunity to have a voice in the planning of the project for the future of the town.

 

All interested parties are encouraged to attend tonight's meeting.
