Gardai investigate burglary in cloughjordan
Gardaí are investigating a break-in at a house at Glenahilty, Cloughjordan, which occurred on Saturday afternoon last - and the theft of a six berth caravan in Roscrea.
The front door of the property had been forced open and a number of rooms ransacked. It has not yet been established if anything was taken from the property.
Gardaí are interested in speaking to the occupants of a mustard coloured Volvo car that was seen parked in the locality at the time.
Meanwhile, the theft of a six berth caravan from the driveway of a house at Ashbury, Roscrea, on Thursday night of last week is being investigated. The caravan is valued at €3,700 and gardaí are appealing for help to locate it.
In another incident, a man in his forties is facing an assault charge and District Court appearance following an alleged incident involging an elderly man in Crotta, Borrisokane on Wednesday of last week.
