Official opening of nenagh business innovation centre
North Tipperary start-up and early stage businesses looking to get a firm foothold in the recovering economy have been boosted by the official opening this week of state-of-the-art serviced offices in Nenagh.
The Nenagh Business Innovation Centre (BIC) will provide early stage businesses with the type of high-tech support facilities and services that much larger operations enjoy but at a fraction of the cost.
The centre, which will be launched by Minister for Environment, Community & Local Government Alan Kelly, TD, this Friday (January 9th) at 2.30pm, is located at Stafford St. It is the first of its kind available in Nenagh and offers businesses a flexible and low-cost enterprise space with all the professional trimmings.
Businesses who rent any of the self-contained offices or hot-desks at the premises will benefit from the full range of services, including high-speed wi-fi, use of board-room/conference-room, printing, scanning, copying, phone-answering and registered mailboxes.
There will also be a range of events and training provided on-site for up to 40 people at one time, with business and mentoring consultancy services also provided, as well as assistance and guidance on access to funding.
Located at the Stafford Street Enterprise Centre (just opposite the creamery), the Business Innovation Centre is easily accessed from anywhere in the town and offers free car parking also, with fully monitored security cameras.
The centre is run by Ardcroney native and local accountant Gerard Ryan, who has provided accountancy and consultancy services to the SME sector for the last 25 years through his Ryan DRDS Associates Limited business. The General Manager of the Nenagh Business Innovation Centre is Aglish native Lorraine Keeshan, who previously worked the Abbey Court Hotel.
