Nenagh gas works start today

Work on the multi-million euro scheme to connect Nenagh with the national gas network is to get underway in the town this Monday.

Tipperary County Council says that a traffic management system will be in place during the course of the works and has warned that some disruption may occur.
The works, which will take six to eight weeks, will take place along a route from Arrabawn Coop through Stafford Street, Silver Street, William Street, Clare Street and Limerick Road.
The works are to take place on a stree-by-street basis with traffic management plans in place.
