Irfu launches your club your country draw


The IRFU's <em>Your Club Your Country Grand Draw</em>fundraising scheme has entered its fifth year and to date theinitiative has raised over €2.5 million for Clubs.<br> <br>The Ulster Bank backed initiative allows Clubs to sell up to 1,000tickets at €10 per ticket and retain 100% of the ticket salerevenue.  The IRFU and its partners supply the prizes for the<em>Your Club Your Country Grand Draw</em> ensuring Clubs reap themaximum benefit from the fundraising scheme.<br> <br>In 2014 the <em>Your Club Your Country Grand Draw</em> raised over€650,000 for the 165 participating Clubs.  Registrationis now open to Clubs for the <em>2015 Your Club Your Country GrandDraw.</em><br> <br>Martin O'Sullivan, President of the IRFU, commented, <em>'It isgreat to see that the Your Club Your Country Grand Draw iscontinuing to assist Clubs in their fundraising initiatives. The IRFU would like to thank all of its partners for theircontinued support of this important revenue generator forClubs.  Special mention must also go to Ulster Bank for theircontinuing support of the Draw and for their ongoing investment inthe Club game.”</em><br> <br>Jason Campbell, Director Corporate and Institutional Banking,Ulster Bank, added, <em>'Ulster Bank are dedicated to the future ofIrish rugby and supporting clubs plays a fundamental role in this.We understand the difficulties that clubs have when it comes tofunding and we are delighted to once again be involved in theIRFU's Your Club Your Country Grand Draw which will no doubt beanother successful fundraising initiative for manyclubs.”</em><br> <br>Clubs can register for the <em>Your Club Your Country GrandDraw</em> by contacting the IRFU.  The draw will take place on16<sup>th</sup> November, 2015 and will be broadcast on Irish RugbyTV on <a href='http://matchdaymail.irishrugby.ie/lt.php?c=2609&m=4420&nl=21&s=7c79421de2b0ce3ebc2e884f858c4c8e&lid=51088&l=-http--www.irishrugby.ie/'>www.irishrugby.ie</a>.   <br> <br>Once registered for the scheme Clubs will receive <em>Your ClubYour Country Grand Draw</em> packs from 14<sup>th</sup> Septemberwhich will contain promotional posters and the all-important GrandDraw tickets.  All sold and unsold tickets must be returned tothe IRFU before 5pm on 4<sup>th</sup> November.
