Nenagh River burst its banks last weekend in the wake of Storm Desmond
Flood alerts are still in place along the River Shannon this Thursday with water levels in Lough Derg and the River Shannon expected to continue rising over the next few days.
Nenagh didn't escape last weekend's Storm Desmond either. Our photo here, taken by Ger Doyle with a camera attached to a drone last Sunday, shows the Nenagh River at Scott' Bridge on the Borrisokane Road (N52). The arches of the bridge are unable to take the volume of water and the river has burst its banks. Well done to Ger Doyle on taking a great photo.
