The Nenagh Guardian Sports Awards 2015
On Friday, 22nd January 2016, twelve monthly awards for 2015 will be presented to winners, in a wide range of sports, who brought success and glory to the Nenagh Guardian readership region over the past year.
The winners are:
1) January- Paul Whyte - Nenagh Olympic Athletic Club
2) February- Black Eagle Judo Club, Ardcroney
3) March- Cistercian College Roscrea Senior Rugby team
4) April- Tipperary Under 21 Football team
5) May- Brendan O’Donoghue – New Institute Snooker Club
-John Minogue – Riverdale Pitch & Putt Club
6) June- Liam O’Meara – Showjumper
-Clodagh Jones – Roscrea Golf Club
7) July- Frank O’Keeffe – Nenagh Lawn Tennis Club
8) August- Sinead Meagher – Nenagh Eire Og Handballer
9) September- Eoghan Fogarty – Irish Touring Car champion
10) October- Burgess/Duharra Senior Camogie team
11) November- Nenagh Lawn Tennis Club Ladies team – Midland League winners
12) December- To be announced
Tipperary hurling great Donie Nealon will be the first member inducted into our Hall of Fame. Two-time All-Ireland winning Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins is the special guest on the night and the MC for the night is the Sunday Independent and Sky Sports Journalist Damian Lawlor
There will be plenty of spot prizes on the night and Tadgh O’ Flynn Jewellers are sponsoring Best Dressed Lady. Tickets are €35pp which includes drinks on arrival, 3 course meal with wine. Corporate and Club discounts will be applied for tables of 10.
