Green light for Roscrea pitch

Roscrea Hurling Club has received planning permission for a new training pitch at Loughpark.

The plan involves a new all-weather training pitch, floodlighting for the pitch, a 3m high fence around the pitch, and all associated site works.

Tipperary Co Council has attached a number of conditions to the permission, including a stipulation that the lighting be directed and cowled to reduce the light scatter outside the site.

Should the planning authority receive complaints about light spillage from neighbouring properties, the operator of the facility will be required to take steps to address the issue.
