Nenagh walk in memory of St Mary's teacher
There will be a remembrance walk held to honour the late Mr Brian McDermott, a former teacher of St Mary’s Secondary School in Nenagh.
This walk, which will be led by Paddy Seymour of Nenagh Walking Club, will take place on Saturday August 6th at 2pm (SHARP). The walking route will take approximately 1-1.5hrs to complete, and will take in part of the Nenagh River Walk (so please wear suitable footwear).
Our starting/finishing point is the Abbey Court Hotel, and registration will take place in the ‘Chantry Suite’ (in hotel) between 1pm and 1.50pm. No Registration fee will be charged, but donations can be made on the day to the Irish Heart Foundation if people so wish.
A draw will take place after the walk for some spot prizes. No dogs and no bikes, and young children must be accompanied by an adult. Donations and spot prizes would be very much appreciated.
