Film project at Nenagh training centre

As part of the Summer Work Programme, students at the Nenagh Community Training Centre recently created a film from scratch. The young adult learners wrote the script under the guidance of theatre director Karen Fitzgibbon and then starred in and produced a four-minute short film under the direction of well-known film maker Jay Reddan. The successful film was premiered in the John’s Lane centre on Tuesday July 26th and will be entered in a competition. Both Jay and Karen were very impressed, not only by the ‘stars’ but also by the inventiveness of the script-writers and ‘back-room’ helpers.
