Louise and Norman Morrissey perform at Nenagh Arts Centre this Saturday night.

Coming attractions at Nenagh Arts Centre

This Friday, November 4th, sees Hazel O'Connor and harpist Cormac de Barra visiting Nenagh Arts Centre.

From initially catapulting to stardom with the starring role in Breaking Glass and the ensuing hits that followed, Hazel continues to tour extensively, delighting audiences along the way, winning over fans old and new. The rock star has returned to her soul roots, live and onstage. Tickets €20.

There's another treat to look forward to on Saturday November 5th at 8pm when Louise Morrissey performs at the centre. Louise Morrissey has long been regarded by both Folk and Country music enthusiasts as one of our vocal treasures.

Multi-award winner Louise will be joined by her brother Norman, who was an integral part of the folk group The Morrisseys, who from the mid 70s through to the late 80s were highly regarded both on the Irish and international Folk scene. Tickets €20.

Then on Saturday November 19th, 'Overshadowed' will be staged at Nenagh Arts Centre at 8pm. Imogene used to be sparkly, vivacious and outgoing. She used to fancy lads, have curves and love chips. Recently however she has become withdrawn, gaunt, obsessed with exercise. The reason? Caol, her new ‘best friend’, who’s cast a dark shadow over Imogene’s life. Tickets €16/€12.50.
