Prize for Nenagh's best Christmas tree!
Nenagh Chamber of Commerce is to present a prize for the best retail/business tree at the Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival.
The Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival, which will be held in St Mary's Church from the Sunday December 11th until Sunday December 18th, is being supported by Nenagh Chamber of Commerce, which will be presenting a special prize for the best retail/business tree. There will also be prizes for the best organisation and individual trees.
Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival will be open daily from 1pm until 7pm, concluding on Sunday December 18th at 6pm when the Community Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will take place. The festival will, once again, be supporting Áras Folláin, in addition to parish funds.
Áras Folláin does invaluable work for those in our community, helping to promote wellness and recovery for people who have experienced mental health difficulties or are at risk of mental ill health through social isolation, family circumstances, relationships, financial circumstances, disability or unemployment. Admission to the Christmas Tree Festival is €3 per adult, with accompanying children free. In addition to the wonderful display of trees (over 80 last year), there will be the opportunity to enjoy the delicious Afternoon Teas (€5pp), purchase some homemade preserves, seasonal produce and craft items, a lucky dip for younger ones, or test your brain with our quiz sheet and your luck with the wonderful raffle, which will include an oven-ready hand reared turkey and trailers of timber. Relax and enjoy the seasonal music, and spend some personal time for reflection in the Prayer Corner.
It is free to enter a 'tree', and if you would like to display a 'tree' or would like further information, please contact the organising committee on 086-8206514 or email nenaghchristmastreefestival@gmail.com
