Road closure in Nenagh

Tipperary County Council has received another application to close Nenagh's Stafford Street for the laying of sewer and gas pipes and water mains.

A 180-metre section is to be closed from the Kenyon Street junction to past the entrance of Arrabawn Co-op. The intended period of closure is from Wednesday January 4th to Friday March 10th (24 hours per day, seven days per week). Alternative routes will be signposted and a specific diversion plan will apply to HGV traffic accessing and egressing Stafford Street Lower. Emergency and pedestrian access will be provided at all times.

Collections and deliveries will be facilitated.

 

The council recently refused an application from Gas Networks Ireland to close Stafford St before Christmas.
