Almost 1,200 planning applications in Tipperary

Tipperary Co Council received a total of 1,173 planning applications between January 1st and December 19th December 2016.

Of these, 210 applications were deemed invalid and 34 were withdrawn. During this period, 901 applications were decided with 867 being granted planning permission and 34 being refused. Further information was requested in 319 cases.

 

The council's planning department received 193 complaints during the year. A total of 147 Warning Letters and 81 Enforcement Notices were issued.
