122 Tipperary clubs in the running for cash prizes with Topaz ‘Cash for Clubs’

122 clubs from Tipperary are taking part in Topaz ‘Cash for Clubs' which is giving clubs of all types and sizes from across the country the opportunity to win up to €10,000 in cash prizes.

 

Topaz customers have been collecting points for their clubs by fuelling up with the fuel provider and with 122 clubs from across Tipperary in contention to claim the grand prize, all support is needed ahead of the upcoming collection deadline on August 13th.

 

Topaz is the country's largest fuel and convenience retailer with over 430 sites nationwide and with its ever-growing network, Topaz recognises the important role played by clubs and their members in communities right across the country, in bringing people together by providing opportunities for them to learn new skills, socialise and be active.

 

In light of the challenges clubs continuously face when it comes to raising much-needed funding and investment, Topaz Cash for Clubs was first introduced in 2015 to offer hard-working clubs a platform to generate funds by harnessing the support of their members and the local community. Over the past two years, €30,750 has been awarded to clubs from Tipperary, with cash prizes totalling €200,000 up for grabs again this year.

 

How it works:

The programme works directly through the Topaz Play or Park Loyalty platform. Clubs can register at playorpark.ie/cash-for-clubs (ROI) or playorpark.co.uk/cash-for-clubs (NI) and, once registered, members of the club and customers in their community can start collecting tokens using a Play or Park gametag, which are available in-store or through the Topaz Play or Park app. You'll receive one token once you spend €30/£20 or more on fuel purchases and once you have linked your gametag to your chosen club your tokens will be automatically allocated to your club. Once a club has collected 2,000 tokens, they will be automatically entered into an ‘everyone-wins' draw.

Topaz ‘Cash for Clubs' 2017 Grand Prize Draw:

• 1st Club drawn will win €10,000

• 10 Clubs thereafter will win €5,000 and

• 140 Clubs after this will receive €1,000
