Tipp casino project still live
Plans to provide a massive multi-feature entertainment venue including a casino in Tipperary are still live.
Richard Quirke has applied for an extension of duration of planning permission for the development at Two-Mile-Borris. A series of revised proposals comprise a greyhound track with grandstand including casino area, as well as a hotel, equestrian centre, 18-hole golf course and vehicle park of almost 6,000 spaces, among other features.
Meanwhile in Nenagh, Irish Water PLC lodged a planning application for 35kW of ground-mounted solar panels and associated works at Bulfin Road. The application has been marked “incompleted” by Tipperary Co Council.
Three Ireland (Hutchison) Ltd applied to construct a 30m-high telecommunications lattice support structure at Springfort Retail Park, Stereame, Nenagh. This application has also been deemed invalid by the council.
