Telecoms tower for Nenagh

Three Ireland (Hutchinson) Ltd is seeking planning permission to install a 30m-high telecommunications tower at Springfort Retail Park, Stereame, Nenagh.

The plan involves construction of a 30m-high telecommunications lattice support structure carrying antennas and transmission dishes, with associated equipment units, security fencing and access track. It is understood that the tower will be located to the rear of the Woodie's DIY store.

Three Ireland recently made a similar application to Tipperary Co Council but it was deemed invalid. The council is to issue a decision on the current application by January 16th.
