Nenagh fundraiser for Irish dancers
A bake & buy sale will take place at Nenagh Arts Centre this Saturday, December 16th, between 10am and 2pm.
Second-hand books and fabulous homemade cakes, buns, etc, will be available for a well deserved treat after dinner. This event is to help raise money for the MacLoone-O'Meara Academy of Irish Dance in Nenagh. The money raised will go towards team costumes for the U10 Mixed Céilí (Current Munster Champions), U10 All Girls Céilí and U12 All Girls Céilí, and any up-and-coming céilí troopes within the school.
As these kids are constantly growing, it is difficult to maintain these outfits and we are hoping to help with the funding of this for our kids. Our amazing teachers, Mikey and Nikki, have put so much love and dedication into these kids that it is nice for us now as parents to give something back.
This Saturday's event will also feature superb raffle prizes, a guess the amount of sweets in the jar to win the jar game, and a display of what the school has to offer. There will be some kids Irish dancing for your entertainment outside (weather permitting).
We will also have a sample of the costumes we are trying to raise money for, so please come out and support us. Guaranteed, you won’t be disappointed!
