Tipp motorists turn to E-Parking
More and more motorists are opting for E-Parking in Tipperary towns.
The recently introduced service is an additional, more convenient way of paying for parking. Methods of payment for parking to members of the public include a Smartphone app, website or phone call. The traditional pay and display machines are still in operation.
E-Parking is availabe in nine Tipperary towns, including Nenagh and Roscrea.
To promote the new service, Tipperary Co Council held a competition with Tipp FM between April 16th and 27th, in which people were encouraged to download the E-parking app.
The council reports that the competition proved very successful with an average of 100 people per entering day. During the two weeks promotion period, a total of 248 downloads of the E-parking app were made.
