Tipperary suffered a heavy loss to defending All Ireland champions Cork in the Munster Senior Camogie Championship final on Saturday.

After performing so positively in the semi-final, this is a big setback for Tipperary and the hope now is the side can re-group in time to have a positive impact on the up-coming All Ireland series, beginning in just under two weeks time.

Tipperary were very unlucky too in ending the game with thirteen players after Mary Ryan and Ereena Fryday received their marching orders which appeared very harsh indeed.

Without doubt, Cork were full value for their victory as Paudie Murray’s charges were primed for victory and they brought a level of intensity, physicality and energy to the game that Tipperary couldn’t match. Cork brought into the game a fast pace, smart play and composure, drawing in the Tipp attack while they continued to pick out the players who were in scoring positions.
