Tipperary Intermediate Camogie Team announced for Liberty Insurance Semi-Final
Tipperary Intermediate Camogie team has been announced for Liberty Insurance Semi-Final against Down at 1.15pm in Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath on Saturday, August 18th.
With the prize of playing the curtain-raiser on All Ireland Final Day awaiting the winners, both Down and Tipperary will be very determined to win in Kinnegad. Both teams have performed very well during the group stages.
Down had to come from behind against Laois to qualify for the All Ireland Semi in their group after previously beating Carlow and gaining a draw against Derry.
Tipperary themselves had very close games against Kilkenny, Galway and Westmeath but ended up topping their group.
Sarah Quigley played for Tipp seniors earlier this year in the Munster Championship. Aine O'Dwyer and Laura Shinners have been elevated from minor ranks with Laura still under 17. Jenny Grace, Eimear Murphy, Andrea Loughane and Niamh Treacy all have recent senior inter-county appearances to add experience to this side.
