Cork signalled their intentions to keep ahold of O’Duffy Cup when they had twelve points to spare over Tipperary in the All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi-final.

In front of a crowd of 3,450, the home side can hold their heads high as they served up a very positive display, particularly in the opening half and trailed by just three points at the break.

Tipp managed to keep the rebels away from scoring goals thanks to the hard working back line and custodian Caoimhe Bourke.

Looking ahead to the future, the Tipp players and management can see where improvements can be made and probably most of all, where fitness levels can be improved upon going into a new season, because there’s a lot more in this group of girls if they continue to develop.
