2019 Tipperary Camogie Panel announced
Tipperary senior & intermediate camogie manager Bill Mullaney has revealed his panel for the 2019 campaign.
After three weeks of trials, the management team have selected 48 players that will train with the joint Senior and Intermediate panel, which has already commenced in the Dome, Semple Stadium and Borrisoleigh.
Tipperary's fortunes at both levels improved markedly with both the seniors and intermediates reaching All Ireland semi-finals in 2018 and will be hoping to go at least one step further next year.
There are several new members to the panel include Beth Ryan from Knockavilla who was centre back on their County Junior 'B' winning side. Goalkeepers Ciara Houlihan from Senior County champions Burgess/Duharra and Aoife O'Brien from Intermediate champions Cashel are also included for the first time, as are Clodagh Horgan (Boherlahan-Dualla), Emma Carey (Thurles Sarsfields) and Aishling Mulryan (Newport/Ballinahinch).
Lorna Dwyer (Holycross) and Nicole Walsh (Borris-Ileigh) also return to the panel and will offset the losses of Sarah Fryday and Ciardha Maher who have opted out of the panel as they are travelling overseas in 2019 and will be big losses from the half forward line.
