Plan to build 22 houses in Nenagh

Tipperary Co Council has received a planning application for the construction of 22 houses in Nenagh.

Singland Homes Ltd is seeking to provide the new units at the Springfort Meadows housing estate of 97 existing dwellings. The plan involves a range of two-bedroom single-storey, four-bedroom two-storey semi-detached, and four-bedroom detached houses.

The development is to be within four existing vacant plots. In its application, the Limerick-based applicant makes reference to the presence of a number of partially-completed dwellings at the location.

It is understood that the council will require two new-build units under Part V of the Planning & Development Act. Singland Homes' application is at pre-validation stage with the council; a decision is due by January 15th.
