St Mary's Secondary School Nenagh team who face St Flannan's of Ennis in the Munster Senior 'B' Camogie final on Saturday

Huge week for Tipperary Schools Camogie

Tipperary camogie players are involved in the Munster Senior 'A', Senior 'B' and Senior 'C' finals in the coming week.

Senior 'A': Eire Og Annacarty have seven players who started for Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa Doon against Colaiste Choilm in the surprise win in the Munster semi-final. Rachel & Aoife O'Dwyer, Gemma Fox, Rosanna O'Donnell, Sarah Bourke, Laura Heffernan and Leah Heffernan ensure a big Tipperary presence as this Limerick school seek to win the blue riband of schools camogie in Munster when they take on St Angela’s Ursuline of Waterford in the final.

Senior 'B': St Mary’s Secondary School Nenagh play St. Flannan's College Ennis next Saturday, 12th January at 12.30pm in Clarecastle, Co. Clare in the Munster 'B' final.
In the group stages, St Mary's began with a good win over Scariff Community College from Clare but were narrowly beaten by Clonakility Community School in round 2 but still progressed to the semi-final where they drew with St John the Baptist, Hospital in their first outing but made no mistake in the replay played in Dolla, winning 3-7 to 0-3. 
Caroline Browne (Nenagh Eire Og) has been starring at midfield with captain Rebecca Forde (Silvermines) lining out at centre forward. Sarah Madden, Jill-Ann Quirke and Emer Tuohy also add pace to this team. Burgess/Duharra have several players also featuring such as Emily Morrissey and Katie Grace.

Senior 'C': Cashel Community School have qualified for the Munster 'C' final next Saturday January 12th. They await the winners of January 8th semi-final between Blackwater CS Lismore and Fermoy. 
International Hockey player Caoimhe Perdue lines out at centre back for Cashel with 2019 County minor captain Sorcha Ryan also leading their defence. Sarah Delaney (Boherlahan) leads their attack with Aine O'Dwyer driving on their midfield line. Tipp county minors Karin Blair and Maebh Ellie Ryan add further strength to this Cashel side.
