Nenagh Ormond begin a crucial four game stretch over the next month which will likely determine their fate in division 2 of the Ulster Bank League.
With seven games left to go, Ormond play four matches over the next 22 days as they look to ease themselves away from the basement battle in the division, and if they get on a good run, possibly chase down a place in the promotion playoffs but at this stage, the latter looked unlikely.
Off the back of a bonus-point win over Galwegians and a credible losing bonus-point against dominant league leaders Highfield last month, Nenagh will hope to build on that against Old Crescent on Friday night, the first of two Friday night light games at home in the next three weeks, with high flying Cashel calling on March 1st.
The Limerick side are two places and seven points ahead of Nenagh in the table but it is a game Ormond will fancy their chances of getting something from, and they will need to considering the two sides they are battling against to avoid the relegation playoff at the moment, Blackrock College and Dolphin face each other on Saturday.
When sides met in Rosbrien last November, Old Crescent won 29-15, however it was a game Nenagh led 15-3 but conceded 26 unanswered points in the second half to come away with nothing.
