Tipperary's Minor Camogie aim to book a place in the All Ireland Final this Saturday when they take in Clare.
No strangers to this stage, this will be Tipperary’s ninth consecutive time to contest an All Ireland semi-final at minor level, winning it twice in 2011 and 2016.
Having been edged out in the last two semi-finals, the young guns from the Premier County are back after winning all their group games against Cork, Dublin, Wexford and Galway, thus topping the table.
Their opponents Clare were runners up in group 1 winning three games out of four, with their only loss coming against Kilkenny who meet Cork in the second semi-final.
Optimistic but cautious of the outcome on Saturday, the side have trained hard and admitted County Camogie Board Chairperson Bridget Bourke who is also a selector on the team.
“We can’t compare as the panel changes each year and as most of the panel are new, last year wouldn’t be an issue. We try to just focus on the game ahead,” she said.
