New life for Nenagh lane

Tipperary Co Council has acquired a small parcel of land at the Ball Alley Lane site between Silver St and the Kenyon St Car Park.

Director Marcus O'Connor told the April meeting of Nenagh Municipal District that this will allow the provision of eight new car parking spaces. The acquisition will also allow the council to develop a better access that will ease accessibility to the area  for emergency services.

Mr O'Connor pointed out that the council has in recent years carried out improvements to nearby Lewis Lane and Glebe Lane. He said a similar initiative would be undertaken at Bally Alley Lane.
