Intermediates look to add more silverware

TIPPERARY v CORK
Charleville
Saturday 18th May
Throw-in @ 7.15pm
Nenagh netminder Sarah Quigley will have to sit out this Saturday’s Munster Intermediate Camogie Championship Final for Tipperary against Cork (7.15pm) in Kilmallock after lining out for the Premier County in the Munster Senior Championship last year.
Quigley failed to concede a goal in the Littlewoods Ireland Division 2 League final win over Kilkenny in Banagher last month. She admits it’s a strange build-up to this weekend’s decider against the Rebelettes.
“I’m not eligible because I played Senior Championship last year,” but explained she will be available for the All Ireland Intermediate Championship which begins on 15th June at home to Down who defeated Tipperary in the semi-final last year.
“Obviously I’m looking forward to the Munster Final and hoping the girls can do the business, but at the same time I’m there and I know I’m not available and that I can’t be picked for the game, so I’m sort of looking forward more so to the All-Ireland campaign.”
