Feuding fans are not supporters
Tipperary County Board chairman John Devane said those Premier County supporters involved in ugly scenes on the Killinan End terrace during the Munster Championship game against Waterford “are not welcome at our games.”
Images went viral on social media following the game on June 19th last showing a number Tipperary supporters fighting of the terrace, with led to two people, including one juvenile being arrested.
“They are not supporters, only louts,” added Devane with county secretary Tim Floyd revealing that one of the people arrested had also been involved in an incident at a game in Semple Stadium against Clare in 2018.
Alcohol has been sold inside the stadium for the last few years and Clonoulty/Rossmore's Michael Coen, who is a voluntary steward at the ground, said supporters are abusive when they are told they can't take alcohol into the stand.
