Green light for Lorrha hall

SCEAL (Social Community Enterprise for Advancement of Lorrha/Rathcabbin) has received conditional planning permission for extensions to St Ruadhán's Community Hall in Lorrha.

Tipperary Co Council has permitted additions and alterations to the existing community hall, including the construction of single-storey extensions to the front and rear of the existing hall, and upgrade of parking area to the front of the building with all with associated site works.

The hall is used for a wide range of events such as heritage events, historical talks, tours and walks; hospice coffee mornings, community markets, drama productions, first aid and first responder training, screening of films and documentaries, environmental campaigns, book and journal launches, and a hub for countless other initiatives located across the parish.
