Tipperary Camogie are throwing open the gates of their training grounds in the Ragg this evening (Wednesday 24th July) to supporters in advance of the upcoming All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship quarter final.
From 7.00pm, this is a great opportunity for boys and girls to meet the current stars of Tipperary Senior and Intermediate Camogie’, play some games and get autographs and selfies.
From 7pm— 7.30pm, the Tipperary under 14 panel will be put through their paces by senior coaches, alongside the seniors and intermediate panels, to be followed by a Fun Games Station and activities with Tipperary players.
The evening is open to all ages as part of Tipperary camogies commitment as part of the #20/20 campaign, striving to help womens sport reach the 20% coverage of women's sport by 2020.
Tipperary seniors have qualified to play Limerick in the All Ireland Quarter final with the game taking place in Semple Stadium on Saturday 3rd August, as part of a double-header with the Galway v Waterford quarter final, both both games being shown live on RTE.
With the Intermediates hoping also to reach a semi-final with one game to go in the group stage, it has the potential to be an exciting Autumn for Tipperary camogie.
