Tipperary manager Shane Ronayne praised his sides leadership qualities, in helping deliver the Premier County's second All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies Football Championship in three years on Sunday at Croke Park.

That impressive leadership coupled with strong attacking abilities played a huge role in ensuring silverware and promotion to the top flight.

Aherlow defender Caitlín Kennedy produced some brilliant runs, and got on the score-sheet in the opening half; with this Tipperary team really coming into their own as the game progressed.

Caitlín had a super start to the year, we were a bit worried about her in the middle of the Summer that she was tailing off a bit, but in the last few weeks at training, she has just upped it,” Ronayne said.
