Kiladangan’s Shane Gleeson gave a masterclass in free-taking as the North champions powered their way past south representatives Mullinahone on Saturday to claim their place in the County Minor 'A' Hurling final.

Gleeson finished with a personal tally of twelve points in a performance that inspired his colleagues who were richly deserving of a victory that keeps them in the hunt for their first county title at this level.

He was not the only star on show for Kiladangan as Sean Hayes, Paul Seymour, Darragh Butler, Conor Byrne and John O'Meara all had big games for the winners who will now fancy their chances of carrying off the big prize when they face off against Drom & Inch next Saturday in Templederry, who defeated Knockavilla Kickhams in their semi-final.
