Stunning View is perfect Ten at Shelbourne

TRAPRISE

Making his racing reappearance since agonisingly denied in the final of the 2019 Irish Laurels, Michael Hogan’s Grangeview Ten (Zero Ten/Portumna West) made a stunning return to Shelbourne Park on Saturday when a dominant winner of his Open 525-yard contest while posting a sublime 28.21!

Preparing for his participation in the upcoming Night Of Stars, the Pat Guilfoyle trained speedster reinforced the assertion that he is the fastest early pacer of the sport over the standard distance when again outpacing an elite field on the run to the first bend despite just a moderate start from Trap 2.

Quickly overturning a near one length deficit when in full stride, the Produce Stakes champion overtook Clona Blaze to his outer before sweeping the bend at pace and Grangeview Ten would extend readily clear to the back-straight. Scorching a path to the closing bends, he had the verdict beyond all reasonable doubt before reaching the home stretch and held a comfortable two and a half lengths over Catunda Logan at the line. Impossible to contain when securing clear passage to the first bend, the Lorrha charge is likely to be a very warm favourite for the Night Of Stars 525 event on November 30th.
