A status 'orange' rainfall warning is still in place for Tipperary with accumulations in excess of 50mm possible in some parts.
The warning came into effect at 3pm on Wednesday and remains in place until Thursday at 6pm. The position will continue to be monitored by the Severe Weather Team to assess the position.
