Killavilla remain on course for Cup double

A week after claiming the claiming the NT&DL Premier Divisions Ricky Fogarty Cup, Killavilla United remain on course for a Cup doube as they progress to the quarter final of the Tipperary Cup following 2-0 away win over Moneygall on Sunday.
Paul Kirwan struck in the first half for Villa to give them a slender one goal lead at the break. In the second half, Denis Moloney doubled the advantage for the Roscrea side who saw out the game in relative comfort.
This was a good win for United to follow up last weekend’s Ricky Fogarty triumph over Nenagh Celtic and they now march on to a quarter-final meeting with Division 1 side Sallypark FC.
The Latteragh outfit, managed by Eugene Foley, will certainly be underdogs going into this game but will take heart from their previous win over Premier side Thurles Town in the earlier rounds as well as their run to last season’s final.
