The Nenagh Guardian is reaching out to local families grieving during the coronavirus pandemic.

Paying a fitting tribute to our recently deceased

One of the most heart-breaking aspects of the very necessary Government restrictions to curb the spread of Covid-19 is the new guideline surrounding funerals.

People who contributed enormously to local communities must now be buried in private ceremonies without the public recognition they so richly deserve.
In an effort to redress this sad situation, the Nenagh Guardian is urging family members and community representatives to contact us with information about those who have recently died so we can compile detailed obituaries that will stand as a permanent record of the deceased’s life and their achievements/interests.
Our team of reporters will be happy to work with family/friends to ensure that their loved ones are appropriately remembered with an obituary in their local newspaper.
There is no charge for this service it is the least we can do in these trying times.
