Roscrea couple's light of hope

Many people are supporting the national round of applause for workers who are responding to the Covid-19 pandemic all over the country. In Roscrea George and Carmel Cunningham of Parkmore, Roscrea, are showing their support for healthcare staff by switching on their light of hope on their chimney top each evening from 9pm to 12 midnight. 
George said : “This is our gesture of hope that thanks all healthcare staff and to show that from our cocooned home, we are thinking of not only Roscrea people but of all humanity.”
