Two charged over public order incident

Gardaí investigating reports of an altercation between a number of people that occurred in the Prior Park Road area of Clonmel on Monday, April 27th, at approximately 5:55pm have arrested and charged two persons.

A man, aged in his early 40s, and a woman, aged in her 30s, were arrested by Gardaí yesterday, 01/05/2020, and detained at Clonmel Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

They have both since been charged in relation to this incident and are due to appear before Clonmel District Court, Court 2, on June 2nd at 10.30am.

Investigations are continuing into the incident.
