MICHAEL HOGAN COMMEMORATION WALK
There were a number of events to mark the commemoration of Michael Hogan throughout the year; however, it is difficult to see any of these going ahead in the current climate.
With this in mind Grangemockler-Ballyneale GAA are promoting the Michael Hogan Commemoration Walk on May 31st.
The club asks all GAA members and members of the public to join them on Sunday week, May 31st, at 11am for the Michael Hogan Commemoration Walk.
You can walk/jog/run in your own area to remember our Bloody Sunday victims and also support Pieta House. Wear you club or county colours and show your support for a great cause.
Take a photo of you or your family taking part and tag #MichaelHoganWalk #Walk4Pieta on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook or join Grangemockler-Ballyneale GAA club ‘Michael Hogan Walk for Pieta’ on Strava app where you can record your journey and photo.
Links to donate will be available on all social media platforms:
Facebook - Grangemockler/Ballyneale GAA
Twitter - @GrangeBally_GAA
Instagram – Grangemockler/Ballyneale GAA – grangebally_gaa
All proceeds will go to Pieta House. The club is focusing on bringing communities apart closer together.
If anyone has any questions around the event you can contact 086 2560827.
TIPPERARY GAA CLUBS DRAW 2020/21
News Update to Members of the Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw
Tipperary County GAA Board have made the following decisions in relation to the Tipperary GAA Draw;
the new draw for 2020/21 will now commence on Friday, September 18th, 2020, with a further 12 cars up for grabs.
For your €100 subscription we will still hold 11 draws in 3 week intervals which will allow us to finish in April 2021.
Your final receipt for the 2019/20 draw will be posted out on Friday July 31st, to arrive the first week of August.
Included with the receipt will be an A5 coloured flyer, announcing the new draw date plus IBAN bank details giving the option to pay the new subscription online.
We would also like to put a contact for every club on the back of this flyer so those receiving them will have a local link. This will involve listing up to 80 contact names and phone numbers of all the units promoting our draw. We believe the club secretary as listed on your 2020 Affiliation Form is the best formal contact to be on this list; however this is dependent on each Club.
Please respond to either of the contact names below by this Friday 22nd May stating whether your Club Secretary’s name and contact phone number should be used on the fliers or with the contact name and phone number for an alternative person within your Club.
If no response is received by this Friday, the secretary.club.tipperary@gaa.ie email address will be used as the contact detail for those Clubs.
If you have any queries on any of the above or the draw itself please contact either the County Secretary, Tim Floyd 087 2591747 secretary.tipperary@gaa.ie or acting Draw Co-Ordinator Maggie Fahey 0504 22702 tippdraw.tipperary@gaa.ie
We truly appreciate your great support to date and we hope you will continue as a member of our draw.
WEBINAR
There was a webinar held recently for county and club officers on personal wellbeing, with contributions from Tom Parsons, Alan Kerins, and Colin Regan. Below is the link to be shared around as it may resonate with a large audience in these current difficult times.
