CBS Nenagh closed for the week
CBS Secondary School in Nenagh will remain closed for the coming week as the Department of Public Health HSE Mid-West continues to manage an outbreak of Covid-19 in the school.
Classes will be held remotely for students of all the various years from Monday.
The Summerhill-based school was closed to students on Friday in order to prevent further transmission of the virus within the school.
Students and staff memmbers deemed to be close contacts of a confirmed case have been referred for testing, which has been taking place locally this weekend.
A repeat screening of all students and staff will take place on Sunday and Monday, May 2nd and 3rd.
It is planned that the school should re-open on Tuesday, May 4th, after the Bank Holiday weekend.
