New single from Jack Keeshan

Roscrea musician Jack Keeshan released his new single ‘Burnt at the Sage’ on Friday.

It will follow the well-received ‘Jenny’, a song about domestic violence, which Jack brought out earlier this year.

He explained that the idea for the new song came from using sage (a medicinal herb) as a metaphor for someone or something that can heal or bring comfort unexpectedly changing to become the root of your problems.

“For example, a long relationship ending suddenly or cutting ties with a close friend or family member,” Jack said. “These situations require time to heal but can also leave you stuck in a nostalgia of the time spent with that person.”

‘Burnt at the Sage’ is now available on Spotify.
