Gardaí investigating burglaries and sheep kill

There have been several incidents of burglary and criminal damage over the last week, including one break-in to a house at Clonmore, Dolla, on Friday. The injured party returned to find their home ransacked with cash and tools among the items stolen. Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area between 12pm and 9pm to come forward.

Another burglary was reported at Ballywilliam around midnight last Thursday. Farming equipment, including water troughs, was among the items stolen. Gardaí investigating this incident with the aid of CCTV obtained a search warrant, which was executed in the Limerick area last Saturday. A number of the stolen items were recovered and investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile, damage was caused to a window of a house at Sheehane, Roscrea, over the weekend. It is possible that the damage was caused by stones.

Gardaí are also investigating the breaking of a car window at Glean Glas, Roscrea, in the early hours of Sunday last. A further incident of criminal damage in Roscrea was reported at Park View in the early hours Sunday, when the injured party returned home to find that a window had been cracked overnight.
