Dolly the terrier was delighted to be reunited with her family in Mullingar.

Delight as Dolly is reunited with owners

Clonmel Gardaí and the ISPCA have reunited Dolly the Jack Russell with her rightful owners. A couple of weeks ago a number of dogs were seized in a planned operation in the district.

Public assistance along with joint Garda and ISPCA enquiries identified a possible owner. This led to a positive confirmation and Dolly has been reunited with her family who travelled down from Mullingar to collect her.

On October 22, Clonmel Gardaí and Detectives from Clonmel Garda Station along with ISPCA Inspectors seized 18 dogs and 3 cats during a planned operation within the district. This operation was aimed at targeting serious breaches of the Animal Health and Welfare Act, 2013 and all these animals have now been taken into the proper care of the ISPCA. Breeds included Chihuahuas, Pugs, Bichon Frise and terriers.

The investigation in relation to this case is ongoing.
