Nenagh collection for Ukraine

Local women Fiona Ryan and Sandra Farrell are among those gathering aid items in Nenagh and sending them to those in need in war-torn Ukraine.

They had a huge response to their collection at Loreto House last week, with 12 pallets of supplies loaded onto a truck and sent to a distribution centre in Poland, close to the Ukraine border. Another truck-load of 14 pallets is to leave Nenagh for the same destination tomorrow.

Well done to everyone who responded and helped out in any way. The local response to the crisis has been overwhelming.

A GoFundMe page has been set up and the money fundraised will go towards items such as:

Nappies

Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner

Clothing

Sanitary items

Medicine.
