Rearcross tractor run for hospices

The Caplis family of Lackamore, Newport and their partners organised a tractor run in aid of Milford Hospice and Galway Hospice, held in Rearcross on Saturday, April 9.

This was in loving memory of their sister/auntie Maisie, who sadly passed away in March 2021.

Maisie worked in Galway Hospice for an amazing 25 years and sadly spent her last few days in that hospice, surrounded by her friends/colleagues and family.

The turnout for the tractor run was fantastic, the sun was shining and the communities of near and far showed such great support. The family were blown away and so thankful to all.

They said: “We want to thank all the wonderful staff in both Milford and Galway hospice for all the hard work and support that they provide for all.”
